- Hover over the folder you want to change the color to on your Mac and right-click> Get Info .
- Click on the folder icon, located at the top. You have to copy this image from the top menu Edit > Copy .
- Now we are going to change the color of the folder from the Preview application on the computer. Open the Preview app> and select New from clipboard .
- Play with the colors in the app to change it to the one you like the most from Adjust Color .
- When you have it ready, double click on the big folder icon. Then go to Edit > Select All > Copy .
- Go back to the folder where you want to change the color, to the Get information section . Here you have to select the icon, and then go to Edit > Paste .
