How to schedule messages on WhatsApp

Yes, it is possible to schedule messages on WhatsApp , so we can eliminate the task of asking Siri or Google Assistant to remind us to write to X person on WhatsApp.

This is where the fine print comes in, and that is, to schedule messages on WhatsApp, you have to use third-party apps, and some of them ask for many permissions.

Download GBWhatsApp, the new WhatsApp Plus

We have tested two applications, and although Wasavi seems unintuitive at first, it works well. In our opinion we liked SKEdit more. But these two are only for Android, if we have an iPhone, we leave a very useful and special app at the end of the article.

Wasavi

A not very intuitive app, in our understanding and based on our experience, but useful for scheduling messages on WhatsApp.

To know how to use this app, we have to follow the following steps:

  • We download and install the app and open it.
  • Next, if we have a Huawei device, it is likely that we will get this dialog box, but nothing happens, we click on “Turn on” and on “Open”.
  • Now, we activate the application overlay in Wasavi.
  • We enable the Wasavi window and grant the permissions.
  • We are already inside the app. Click on the blue “+” icon and select “Schedule message”.
  • We fill in the form , with the name of the contacts, the time, the message, etc.
  • Download Wasavi for Android

SKEdit

Another app for Android with which you can program WhatsApp messages. This application has been more visual and simple for us , and here are the steps to master message programming:

  • We install the app and open it. The first thing they ask us is without simple registration of email and password.
  • Next, we add the services in which we would like to schedule messages.
  • On the home screen we choose “WhatsApp”.
  • Now we activate the accessibility to SKEdit and accept the permissions.
  • This is where we start to create the programming, but a problem arises and that is that for the message to be sent automatically we must eliminate the unlocking method that we have (pattern, fingerprint, facial, PIN, etc.).
  • So that we do not get the previous message, we must click on the option “Ask me before sending”.
  • Download SKEdit for Android

Scheduled: schedule WhatsApp messages on iOS

Everything we have said so far does not work for iOS, but Scheduled does work, a free app with which we can schedule WhatsApp messages, among other applications, such as Telegram, Facebook Messenger, SMS, email, iMessage , Twitter, Slack, WeChat, LinkedIn, Skype, etc.

  • We download, install and open the app.
  • We accept the permissions that they request.
  • Once inside the app, click on “New Message” .
  • We select the contact (s) to whom we are going to send the scheduled message.
  • We mark the app where we want to send the messages, WhatsApp in this case.
  • We fill in the details , such as delivery time, text, repetition, if it is with automatic delivery, etc.
  • Once we finish, we accept and click on “Scheduled message”.
  • Finally, when the message has been sent and there are no errors, which sometimes happens with some apps, we will see a green check .
