What methods are there to erase text in an image with Photoshop?

In Photoshop, you have the possibility to delete a text from an image that you like , to later restore it and placea new inserted text in it,or change colors and tones of it, and in order to achieve all this, you must follow the steps that we are going to invite you next.

Using the ‘patch’ tool

Patch tool, is a function similar to the brush tool, since it copies the format of a specific fragment of the image and copies it elsewhere, that is, when we want to correct an image, it will be able to copy fragment of the image, and place it in another place, thus imitating its colors , in this way  you can color the image , or correct defects that it has.

In order to use this patch tool , the first thing you have to do is enter your Photoshop application, later, you will have to insert the image that you are going to edit.

After you insert the image, you will notice that on the left side of the screen, far below the cropping functions, you will be able to find the option that says Patch.

Once here you must click on the options menu of the same, where it says make a patch, with the brush you will begin to touch the pieces of the image that you want to eliminate, then you must move the mouse to the side where we want it to copy the fragment, then you give Control + T, to remove the selection.

In this way it will capture it, and it will put it where the letter or drawing was.  In this way, it will begin to eliminate both the letters and the drawings that it contains. This procedure must be done with all the letters and drawings, if the image remains clean to be reused.

With the lasso tool

With the lasso tool, it is very easy to use, because you simply have to press the lasso option and then with the brush you are going to select the fragment that you want to hide.

After that you are going to right click, later on fill, when you are in the fill area you are going to click on fill according to the content, and you will click on ok. You must do the same with the other letters or images that you want to eliminate and thus it will be hidden and you will be able to restore the image.

Use ‘clone buffer’

In order to use the clone plug option, you must go to the functions that are on the left side of the screen and locate the icon that looks like a brush, then click on clone.

Subsequently, you must place the cursor on the fragment of the image that you want to copy, and you will keep the Alt Gr key pressed, so that in this way, the brush selects and the fragment to be copied and then without stopping pressing the Alt Gr key, you will eliminate the letters, so you must do the process with the entire image.
