How to increase the power of anomalies in Outriders

As you roam the hostile planet in Outriders, completing missions and obtaining all sorts of different weapons and gear, you’ve probably seen the term Anomaly Power pop up. Outriders anomaly power is an important stat in building your character, and you’ll want to pay as much attention to it as your firepower and armor stats. This is why.

What is the power of anomalies?

Your character’s Anomaly Power stat determines the damage dealt by melee, ability, and status effects. You can see it from the “Inventory” screen of the Heroes menu.

Your anomaly power can be seen right next to “Firepower” on the left side of the “Inventory” screen.

Whenever you use your melee attack or any of your class abilities, your anomaly power will determine how much damage you deal. The higher your Anomaly Power in Outriders, the greater the damage dealt.

Similarly, if you are using a weapon or ability that deals damage per status effect, such as burn, a higher anomaly power number will increase the amount of damage dealt per tick.

As such, if you enjoy using a lot of your class abilities and melee attacks (and who wouldn’t? They’re awesome and very effective!), You’ll want to make sure you can maintain your anomaly power. nice and tall as you go.

How to increase the power of anomalies in Outriders

There are two ways to increase your anomaly power, in addition to the natural increase you get as you level up.

Armor bonus

Each weapon and piece of armor you collect will grant its own bonus to one of your stats. These bonuses can range from a boost to your maximum health, additional firepower, and yes, anomaly power.

Your anomaly power will naturally increase as you progress through the Outriders, but you can boost it even more by equipping armor pieces that grant it a bonus.

Class tree nodes

In your class tree, you will find nodes, called Concentration for the Trickster class, that also increase your Anomaly Power by 6%.

There are a total of seven focus nodes, each of which grants 6%, which means you can increase its anomaly power by 42% if you invest all of your class points on it.
