Dented Metal Bat is a rare resource that you can get from the little monkey-like enemies you encounter in the northern plains.
However, the easiest place to farm them is actually in the Underground Laboratory section of Emil’s Mansion in the South Plains. Specifically, the second area of level 2B where you will be attacked by about five waves of Little Shadows. Each wave is about 10 shades, and they usually leave a lot of metal bats.
