If you follow this link and download the file, you will already have firmware 5.00. Now, you will have to get an empty pendrive and create a folder called »PS4». Inside this folder, another one called »UPDATE». The file that you have downloaded must go inside the folder »UPDATE» with the name »PS4UPDATE.PUP». All in capital letters. Connect this USB to the console.
Go to PS4 safe mode
To enter PS4 safe mode , with the console off, press and hold the power button for 7-8 seconds until you hear two beeps. At this point, connect the PS4 controller with the USB cable and press the »home» button to access safe mode. Once here, select »Initialize PS4 (reinstall system software).
Rebuild database
