One of the most annoying things on Windows is the notification department . Especially if you use the print function, and you print a lot of documents every day, you certainly want to disable all the notifications you receive, right?
In today’s guide we are going to see how to disable the annoying printer notification messages that appear when an event occurs on the printer in Microsoft Windows.

Disable print notifications on Windows 11 and 10
- Select the Start button , then choose Settings .
- Select Devices .
- Select Printers and Scanners .
- Scroll down to the Related Settings section and select the Print Server Properties link .
- Select the Advanced tab .
- Uncheck the following boxes:
Show informational notifications for local printers.
Show informational notifications for network printers.
- Click ok
Disable Windows 8, 7 and Server 2012 press notifications
Before I start following this procedure, I want to inform you that it is not available in the Home versions of Windows. So it can only be done in the pro versions of Windows.

- Press and hold the Windowskey along with the R key to bring up the Run Windows dialog .
- Type ” msc“, then press Enter .
- Expand Print Server, then right – click your computer name and select Print Server Properties .
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Uncheck Showinformational notifications for local printers and Show informative notifications for network printers .
Disable Windows XP Print Notifications
Finally, even if I think for very few people, I wanted to list the procedures to follow to disable print notifications even on computers with Windows XP operating system .
- Click Start> Settings> Printers and Faxes .
- Click File> Server Properties .
- Click on the Advanced
- Uncheckthe following boxes:
- Show informational notifications for local printers.
- Show informational notifications for network printers.
- Notify when remote documents are printed.
- ClickOK . _
