How can you configure the receipt of emails by Instagram?
The receipt of notifications by Instagram is fully configurable and you can perform this operation in a very simple way from your mobile device. Be this Android or iOS, but it also allows you to do this configuration from your PC. So let’s see what steps to follow to configure email reception from Instagram on each device.
With the Android app
The first step to configure notifications will be to enter the App and log into your Instagram account . Once you are in your profile, go to the upper right corner and click on the icon with three horizontal lines. This action will generate a menu on the screen and you will click on the ‘Settings’ option and you will be taken to its window.
In it we will see several sections among which are ‘Ads’, ‘Accounts’, ‘security’, ‘Follow and invite friends’ and ‘Notifications’. We will click on the latter and we will now be taken to a new window and in it we will see two options. ‘Push Notifications’ and ‘Notifications by email and SMS’ in our case, we will press the latter.
In the next window we will have the notification options that we can receive by email. Which have a switch on the right side, to activate these options it will only be enough to slide said switch to the right. In the case of wanting to deactivate any mail notification option , you must slide the switch to the left
From the iOS version
If you use a device that works with the iOS system, the steps to perform to configure email notifications are very similar. First, enter the App and then log in once to your profile, press the three-dot icon and choose the ‘Settings’ option. In this window you will search and select by clicking on the ‘Notifications’ section.
The next step is to select the option ‘ Email and SMS notifications’ and in this way you will be taken to its window. Here you will see the different options that you can configure and it will be your preference to choose those that you want to deactivate or leave activated.
With your computer
From your personal computer it is also very easy to configure the email notifications that come to you from Instagram. The first thing you should do is go to your browser to access the main Instagram page . The next step will be to enter your email and password to access your account and now you must go to your profile and to do this click on your username.

With the website
From the official Instagram page, entering from a PC, you can also change your email address . To do this, enter the website and enter your data to log in, now click on your username to enter your profile.
