So basically, you can call with Alexa any contact who has an Alexa device or the Alexa app installed on their smartphone. Call with the Alexa App
To make calls with Alexa via the app and therefore from your smartphone, all you have to do is open the Alexa app and press the communication button (button in the menu at the bottom of the page). Then you will have to press on the written call in the upper part of the window and then select the desired contact from the list or using the search field at the top.
At this point, select the type of call (you can make audio or video calls).
Call with Amazon Echo
If, on the other hand, you want to call Alexa directly from an Amazon Echo device, all you have to do is use the voice command ” Alexa, make a call to (contact name )” where contact name is the name of the person you want to call (the contact must be present in the Alexa address book). To stop the video call, just say “Alexa, end the call”
