How can I ‘react’ to a post or comment on Facebook

Since Facebook changed its classic Like for the possibility of reacting in different ways in addition to this, everything changed and it was for the better. Reactions on Facebook even became the addiction of many people, much more than the simple Like.

If you are new to the Facebook platform, you do not have enough knowledge about how to socialize  through it, and you want to learn one of the most entertaining activities of the moment, reacting, you can continue reading this article to learn it.

What is a reaction on Facebook and what does it mean?

When we talk about a reaction, we refer at all times to the immediate or long-term effect that a first action had, and this will have consequences. A reaction is the response to a preceding action , in other words.

The reaction serves to express what we feel, the sensation that a situation caused us and what we have inside when doing what a third party did or does, which can be a person or any entity. So, we can say that it serves to give an immediate and often unconscious response.

A reaction on Facebook is therefore the digital representation used by the users of the platform, to express their feeling when seeing the publication or live video that another user has offered, another profile.

Facebook reactions then serve to publicize the liking, disgust, disgust, annoyance, sadness or charm produced by the content or information that someone, who may be a person or an institutional entity, has shared on the Facebook timeline.

Many people see their own meaning in the reactions in their publications , and it is that they certainly provoke satisfaction just as receiving one or many likes did, therefore, receiving more reactions and likes is a goal.

How can I react to a post or comment on Facebook?

In the timeline or schedule of Facebook we are constantly going to find the publications of the pages we follow, the friends we have and / or the groups to which we are subscribed; And this is more and more constant when we have many pages in a row, friends added and subscriptions in groups.

The publications on Facebook are interpreted according to the user who sees them: some of the publications on certain pages may seem something very different than to others; it is a matter of judgments and perspectives.

But in a general way, publications can be defined as information that is disclosed in the Facebook schedule, with a specific purpose.

The comments are another type of reaction , although they are not considered as such, that they are posted by users outside the publication, to fulfill the obvious objective of commenting on what has been published, and this is saved. You can even see all the comments you have made on Facebook.

To react to the publications of your friends or followed pages, you just have to locate the option to react, which is under each publication , and you will have to choose the reaction you want from the options that appear. And your friends will then receive the notification of your reaction, and vice versa.

How to see when my friends react to my posts or comments on Facebook?

Everything that can generate an effect on our publications or the labels that have been made to us from a post, will appear in our Facebook notifications , a bell-shaped section that we have at the top of the screen.

Reactions also go directly to notifications, which we can receive even when we do not have the Facebook application installed.

But it can also happen that you do not receive notifications, and therefore you do not find out that your friends have reacted to the different posts that you have published or shared.

The solution to this is to go to settings in the notifications and activate the ‘switch’ of the reactions. Once this is done, you will know who reacts to your comments or publications.

However, for your own and personal reasons, you may not be interested in knowing who or who reacts to everything you post, so you have the right to deactivate notifications .
