HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS. CONTINUE THE MAGIC

If you are a fan of the Harry Potter saga, you probably already know everything about its exciting second part Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets . JK Rowling published this exciting continuation of the adventures of the young wizard and his friends in July 1998 (almost twenty years ago!) And it was a boom just like its predecessor.

HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS. A DARKER HISTORY

In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets , we are already in the second year of our protagonist in the incredible Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And a series of mysterious messages appear on the walls of the hallways warning that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened and that the heir of the Slytherins will kill all those students who do not come from a family with magic blood.

Thus begins a terrifying story that takes Harry and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger to know much more about the dark Lord Voldemort.

A BOOK WITH A GREAT SUCCESS

Although the author had some difficulties in finishing her novel and that some critics felt that perhaps it was too creepy for the children, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets achieved as much or more success than its predecessor, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone .

Four years after the publication of the novel, in 2002, the film was released, directed by Chris Columbus. Achieving a great box office success, it became the third movie in history to exceed 600 million dollars in international sales.

Of course, the influence of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets did not end with the movie. For example, during the same year the film was released, eight different video games were also published, freely inspired by the novel for different consoles and platforms.
