At last the time has come! The Fortnite Superman skin is finally released into the game, and to earn it, players will need to complete a series of challenges. In this guide, we will explain how to get both the Clark Kent and Superman looks, also known as the built-in “Secret Identity” emote.
Get Clark Kent in Fortnite
First, you will need to unlock Clark Kent’s mask. To do this, you will need the Battle Pass, so make sure you have purchased it.
Once you have done that, you will need to complete the following challenge:
- Complete Armored Batman, Clark Kent, or Beast Boy missions (5)
To do this, you will need to accept quests from any of these three characters when using one of the public telephones found throughout the map. These are the same pay phones you visit to accept Slone’s orders for the legendary quest line each week.
You will have to complete 5 of these missions of one of the three characters to complete the challenge and unlock the Clark Kent mask in Fortnite. Then we will unlock the Superman mask!
Get the Fortnite Superman skin
The Superman mask is actually a built-in gesture from Clark Kent’s mask, so we had to unlock it first.
Equip your Clark Kent look and start a game. Once you get out of the battle bus, you must visit a phone booth like Clark Kent . These are dotted all over the map and are red squares that make them relatively easy to spot.

Their locations are shown on the map below:
There are phone booths in the following named locations:
- Cliffs
- Retail line
- Misty meadows
- Holly hatchery
- East Corny Complex
All you have to do is hold X / Square / Y / E to interact and use the phone booth as Clark Kent. This will unlock the built-in ‘Secret Identity’ emote for Clark Kent.
When worn, a short animation will play and transform into a Fortnite Superman skin.
Unlock variants of Shadow Clark Kent and Superman
If those skins aren’t enough for you, it’s also possible to win an unlockable style for Clark Kent and Superman skins in Fortnite. This is a black and white variation that looks quite classy!
To unlock them, you will need to complete 84 epic missions. The good news is that the ones you have already completed will count towards your total. So if you’ve been following the weekly challenges, you should already be pretty close to unlocking it.
