To disable shader caching and fix the black screen error in Hogwarts Legacy, follow these steps:
- Press Win+R
- Enter %appdata%
- Exit Roaming
- And go to Local/Hogwarts Legacy/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor.
- Open GameUserSettings. ini in the WindowsNoEditor folder with the suggested text file editor or similar (it is treated as a .txt file)
- Scroll down to [ CacheFile]
- Below it add ShaderPipelineCache.Enabled = 0
