Faith in Allah

As a man of faith who lives on earth, of course it has become a certainty of life if in his daily life must have a handle on life. So that in living his life remains strong and not easily mired in the abyss of darkness.

This is certainly an important point in itself that must be considered by all humans. Because the name of undergoing the process of life on this earth must have a firm and solid grip on life, coupled with the foundation and principles that can make humanity happy in the world and the hereafter.

Among humanity’s most important handles is faith in God. This means that humans believe that God must be believed. Now, the following author will explain a little what it is about faith in God.

Understanding Faith in God

Faith according to language means trust. As for the understanding of the term means to believe wholeheartedly and be pronounced verbally and practiced or practiced through deeds in daily life. In connection with this faith the Messenger of Allah (saw) gave an explanation as follows:

 الإِيمَانِ. «أَنْ تُؤْمِنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلاَئِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَتُؤْمِنَ بِلْ َََََََََََََِِِِّ

Meaning:

“Faith is you believe in Allah, and in His angels, also in His Books, also in His Apostles, also in the End Times (Doomsday), and believe in His Qadar both bad or good “(HR. Muslim from Abdullah ibn Umar)

This faith in God has a very deep meaning. In addition to believing in the heart of God, and expressed through words, this faith is also carried out by practicing everything whose purpose is indeed for Allah Ta’ala.

This faith in God is not something easy because what is called faith here is to believe in something that is strange. To prove it is also not the same as proving something that looks that is around us. The existence of something that is around us we can certainly feel and see through our senses.

From here to prove the existence of God is with the conscience of man himself. For example, by seeing and admiring God’s creations in this universe such as; The sun, moon, stars, and vast earth which is the place where humanity lives.

Like the objects that are around us, such as cars, motorcycles, tables, chairs and others. All must have made it, and what makes it all is humanity itself.

For this reason, the existence of this universe that has a variety of contents of course there is also who created it. Namely Allah Almighty. From here also humans must also know and understand and believe that Allah is the Essence of the Creator, the Essence of the Almighty, the Essence that Governs Everything

The following is one of the verses of the Koran that commands all mankind to stick to faith in Allah SWT.

Meaning:

“O you who believe, keep faith in Allah and His Messenger and in the book Allah sent down to His Messenger and the book Allah sent down before. Whoever disbelieves Allah, His angels, His books, His apostles, and the day afterwards, then surely that person has gone astray as far away “(QS. An-Nisa ‘(4): 136 )

Advantages of Believers

From the above verse, it is clear that anyone who does not believe in Allah is a person who is truly a heretic. From here also explained that people who believe in God will surely get various benefits both in the world and in the hereafter.

Therefore, as human beings we are always invited to improve and hold fast in matters of faith in God Almighty. Because with the provision of faith, humans can live peacefully in the world and the hereafter.

Besides having faith in Allah, it can become a race for our daily lives, so that we can keep ourselves obedient, obedient in carrying out His commands and trying to always stay away from His prohibitions. And thus can make one of the calm factors in ourselves and our hearts. As stated in the QS. Ar-Ra’d (13): 28 in the following:

ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَتَطۡمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۗ أَلَا بِذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِ تَطۡمَئِنُّ ٱلۡقُُُ

Meaning:

“(Ie) those who believe and their hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah. Remember, only by remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction ”

In addition, in another verse Allah also explained that it would help those who believe both in the hereafter and in the hereafter, as in the QS. Al-Mu’min (40): 51.

Meaning:

“Indeed, we help our apostles and those who believe in world life and on the day of the witnesses (Judgment Day)”

From a little explanation above, hopefully we as human beings can learn and be able to introspect ourselves, so we can improve the quality of faith in ourselves and can help and invite other friends to both increase faith in God. Because only He is the One Who Knows Everything …

Meaning:

“Allah grasped the Earth on the Day of Resurrection and folded the sky with His ‘right hand’, then said:” I am the king. Where are the kings of the earth? ” (Narrated by Bukhari)
