Elden Ring: Where to Get the Horn of the Ancient Spirit

If you really want your build to be as powerful as possible in the Elden Ring, you’ll definitely want to use talismans at some point. These items can give you useful buffs and bonuses to strengthen your build, so it’s important to know where the most valuable ones are. Here’s where to get the Horn of the Ancient Spirit talisman in the Elden Ring.

Get the Horn of the Ancient Spirit in Elden Ring

  • Progress through the game and defeat Radahn in Caelid.

You can trigger the Redmane Festival to start by following Ranni and Blaidd’s questline, or by reaching Altus Plateau.

  • Drop down the crater next to Fort Haight in East Limgrave to reach Nokron.
  • Make your way through Nokron and defeat the Mimic Tear to reach the upper reaches of the Siofra River.
  • Light all the Flame Beacons in Siofra, then interact with the Ancient Remains at the start of the area.
  • Defeat the royal ancestral spirit to receive its memory.
  • Return to the Round Table Keep and exchange the Memory of the Royal Ancestor to get the Horn of the Ancient Spirit.

What does

The Horn of the Ancient Spirit is a talisman that you can equip and allows you to gain a little FP every time you kill an enemy.

This sounds like a pretty good talisman for magic builds, but keep in mind that the amount of FP restored is very small. You get around 3 FP for each kill, which means you’ll probably need to rely heavily on melee kills in order to take advantage of them. Because of this, we would only recommend this talisman for magical and melee hybrid builds.

That is everything you need to know about how to get the Horn of the Ancestral Spirit in Elden Ring . Be sure to check out our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
