Dyson Sphere Program is an economic strategy in which you will not only be engaged in construction, but also conquer space. The game is set in the near future, when humanity had to go beyond the Earth and explore neighboring planets. If you have any difficulties with the passage – use our guide.

Creating the world in the Dyson Sphere Program

Before starting the game, you will be able to adjust the parameters of your open world. You are prompted to select the number of planets available, from 32 to 64, and set the resource multiplier, from 0.5 to infinity. If you do not set these parameters yourself, the game will set them randomly.

Mining of copper and iron

As soon as you land on one of the planets, immediately start mining copper and iron. These resources appear as red and blue crystals. The resulting metal will automatically be added to your inventory. To see its contents, press the E key or click on the lower right corner of the screen.


There are several things to consider.

  • Wind turbines should not be placed close to each other.
  • Some buildings (eg storage facilities) can be built vertically on top of each other. This will save space.
  • Machines that are associated with the extraction of resources can be deployed so that they cover as many ore crystals as possible.
  • If you disassemble a building or conveyor belt, the resources that were spent on construction will be returned to you in full.

Basic buildings

These structures do not require the study of matrices, so they can be built at the very beginning of the game.

  • Mining machines. Used to collect resources. Place them so as to cover as many crystals as possible.
  • Belt conveyor (Conveyor belts). Allows to transport ore to smelters automatically. It is advisable to allocate a separate tape for each type of resource. Please note that the direction of movement of the conveyor is set from the very beginning. If you decide to change it, you will have to disassemble the entire tape and rebuild it.
  • Splitter. It is necessary for dividing the conveyor belt into two parts.
  • Sorter. Required to move resources along the pipeline. It is important to set it in the right direction. In addition, you can specify the type of products that they will transport. To access more advanced sorters, explore Advanced Logistics technology.
  • Smelter (Smelter). Converts mined ore into metal ingots.
  • Assembling Machine. Converts metal ingots into components required for further production.
  • Storage (Storage). This is where your resources are stored. They can be delivered manually or by conveyor.
  • The Matrix Lab. Required to study scientific matrices.

Create magnetic coils to study electromagnetism

To make a Magnetic coil, open the Replicator. To do this, you need to press the F key. You need to make copper ingots (Copper ingot) and magnets (Magnet). They can be used to design magnetic coils. You need 10 pieces.

Then go to the Technology tree and in the Technologies tab select Electromagnetism. After studying it, you will have access to mining machines (Mining machines), Tesla towers (Tesla towers) and wind turbines (Wind turbines). After that, you can extract resources automatically and generate electricity. In addition, all technologies for learning will be available to you.

About scientific matrices

There are 6 types of scientific matrices in the game – Electromagnetic, Energy, Structure, Information, Gravity and the Universe. To access the next matrix, you need to study the previous one. Ultimately, it will be necessary to master the technologies associated with the study of the universe.

How electricity works

All buildings in the game must be supplied with electricity. For its production, wind turbines are needed, and for transmission over a distance, Tesla towers. If the building is not provided with electricity, you will see a corresponding warning. You can provide it with electricity or demolish and rebuild it in a more convenient location.

Create logistics systems

For your database to function in automatic mode, you need to correctly set up the production cycle. At the very least, it is advisable to go through the following steps:

  • Provide mining for iron and copper.
  • Use iron for both ingots and magnets.
  • Refine copper ore into ingots, then distribute between magnetic coils and circuit boards.
  • Send PCBs and magnetic coils to the Matrix Lab.
