The more you move, the more difficult it will be for enemies to harm you. Also, it means that you can collect all the ammunition and other pieces that fall from the enemies as you go. The move also allows you to group enemies, which works great with a weapon that can deal damage over a large area.
Change your weapons often
Ratchet & Clank has always been about wacky weapons and gadgets, and Rift Apart is no different.
There are tons of great weapons to use, and experiencing them all is part of the fun of the adventure. Not only is it nice to vary things in your game, but it also makes sense to switch weapons regularly during combat.

Don’t worry about the screws

You’ll get a ton of bolts on your Rift Apart adventure, so don’t worry too much about collecting every last one to drop from an enemy or a box you’ve destroyed.
Bolts can be found practically anywhere on the planets and can even be grown in sandy areas. You never have to worry about collecting them as you progress through the story. If you ever need them urgently, you can go to the arena and eliminate them.
The weapons don’t cost a ton of bolts either, or at least not an amount that will cost you to rack up during your stay at Rift Apart.
In other words, don’t let your perfectionist side make you think of those few screws you missed on planet two. There are many more screws in the sea.
Fight first, collect later
Anything that enemies or boxes drop won’t go away, so don’t worry about absorbing it as soon as it appears.
Instead, focus on eliminating all the enemies in the area you are in. This will help you avoid taking unnecessary damage from being distracted by glowing bolts and ammo collectors, and that’s always a good thing.
It might seem a bit obvious, but if you don’t know that bolts and ammunition stay on the ground all the time after falling, you can get stressed out trying to grab them all in the heat of the moment. Now you know!

The adjustable wrench is a great melee attack that can deal a large amount of damage with a single hit. As long as you’re comfortable getting close to your enemies, we recommend using it when you run out of ammo or just need to take out some enemies quickly.
It also has a ton of different attacks that you can use. Pressing Square will rotate the key, pressing L2 and pressing Square will launch the key where the scope is pointed, and jumping and pressing Square will cause you to perform a melee attack.
