Biographical synthesis

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she is the daughter of Linda and Allen Womack, a physicist.1 When she was seven years old, she moved with her parents and her sister Cynthia to Lynchburg, Virginia, where she attended EC Glass High School. ׀ ‚„ ”’He majored in Asian Studies at Dartmouth College. After graduating in 1989, he moved to New York, where he spent two years at the Neighborhood Playhouse studying with Sanford Meisner.

Trajectory

Britton uses her married name as her stage name, even though she has divorced her husband. In November 2011, she adopted a son, Eyob “Yoby” Britton, from Ethiopia.2 While studying at the Neighborhood Playhouse, Britton made her stage debut in New York in Caroline Kava’s The Early Girl. After graduation, he spent two more years working off-Broadway and moved to Los Angeles after the success of The Brothers McMullen. In 2010 she appeared in the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street as Marge Thompson, Nancy’s mother. In 2011, she starred alongside Jessica Lange and Dylan McDermott in the American Horror Story series created by Ryan Murphy.

As of 2012 he began working on the Nashville series alongside Hayden Panettiere as country legend Rayna James. In February 2017 , after five successful seasons, he suddenly decided to leave Nashville (in Chapter 9 of Season 5), forcing the writers to take an unexpected turn on the series.3 His involvement in Nashville has led to a nomination. at the 2013 Golden Globes. In 2018 , Britton played emergency operator Abby Clark in the first season of the Fox drama 9-1-1, her third collaboration with Ryan Murphy. 4 The same year, he returned to American Horror Story for the eighth season, Apocalypse.

Actual life

American actress Connie Britton has been a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador since April 2 , 2014 . In this role, in this role, Connie is helping to raise awareness and mobilize support for UNDP efforts to fight poverty, empower women and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, also known as the Global Goals. Throughout her career, Connie Britton has devoted a significant portion of her time to various charitable activities both in the United States and internationally. He has traveled extensively and has witnessed first-hand the challenges faced by millions of people living in poverty around the world.

As a UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, Connie visited Kenya and Rwanda, where she was moved and inspired by UNDP’s work to empower women. She continues to actively support the organization’s mission to create a world where poverty and inequality are a thing of the past. In her acting career, Britton has earned multiple Emmy nominations for her lead roles on the award-winning television series American Horror Story and Friday Night Lights, which also earned her her first Golden Globe nomination. He produced and starred in Nashville, winner of the Critics Choice Television Award, and his film Beatriz at Dinner received a critical award at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival
