Use
They are widely used in insect traps, both for mass capture and for monitoring populations. For example, the olive fly and many other insects that can be a pest in both agriculture and forestry .
Trap in the form of a tray in which there is a liquid in which the insects drown when falling. In this trap the yellow color is used as a chromotropic attractant.
