He first settled in a place that was built for warehouse in 1927 in the town of Falcón, later this same place became the primary public school of that town, which disappears with the triumph of the Cuban revolution in 1959 when it is built The internal school center.
From 1965 to 1969 it was an internal education center for 6th grade students and then from 1969 to 1971 it became the basic high school in the town of Falcón. Then he moved to the internal center of Palo Bonito Manacas municipality located in the former municipality of Manacas currently Santo Domingo .
Structure and operation
Chichí Padrón Mixed Center has three levels of education:
- Basic secondary
- Professional Technical Teaching
In September of 1971 it begins to function as junior high school, with an enrollment of 90 students in 7th grade, which was increasing as they went incorporating other own degree level education with annexes local and undergoing transformations in its structure, fundamentally its interior, until it becomes a mixed center with three levels of education: basic secondary, pre-university and professional technical education, distributed in: the Secondary School and three annexes in the town, with an enrollment of 398 students and 53 teachers, which have been interested in their overcoming and many have reached the scientific category of Master in Education Sciences .
This school is a mixed center, a new type of educational institution that arises from the need to offer a response to the demands of qualified workforce in the country, and that each territory can form its qualified workforce in those specialties in which it is necessary and possible, as well as making the most of human, material and financial resources, bringing educational services closer to the area of residence of the students.
