Now, the way to change from this to the creative mode is as follows: go to the options of the world that you will build and in “Cheats” perform the activation. Create the world and press the “t” button, then type: / gamemode 1 to change to creative and / gamemode 0 to change to survival.
Changing game mode from creative mode
Here the creation mode is free, and you have a certain number of blocks and tools. In this mode you can fly, and unlike survival mode monsters do not appear suddenly. However, you may be damaged. First: Install NBTExplorer
In order to permanently change the game mode in Minecraft, you must install NBTExplorer , which is a cross-platform tool available for Windows, Mac and Linux. It is important that you back up the worlds before modifying them, so copy the entire file directory and keep them in a safe place.
When the application is run for the first time, it will automatically load the default directory where Minecraft files are saved for the operating system you are using.

Let’s say you are modifying a world of survival. First, take a look at the values you need to change to set it permanently in creative mode. Expand the level.dat entry and click “Data.” Within that list of data you will find an entry called “GameType”. Although you can use keywords like “creative” or “c” to change modes when you use the / gamemode command in-game, the value of GameType must be set using a value number. These are the values you can use:
0 – Survival
1 – Creative
2 – Adventure
3 – Spectator
The goal here is to change the world you created in survival mode to creative, so you have to change the value from 0 to 1. Double click on the value and replace it with the value of the game mode you want. Then press CTRL + S or the save icon to save the changes.
