Cespitose relatively rare. BISON variety. It is the grass leaf more tolerant fine to the heat of arid and semi – arid regions and most resistant drought . It is used for erosion control and in parks and cemeteries , sports fields and landscaping where irrigation cannot be used for these purposes.
