The Bible says that Jesus will return soon. So we need to be ready for when that happens. No one knows exactly when Jesus is going to return but we need to remain vigilant.
Jesus will return. The Bible says this clearly. And when he returns, Jesus will judge mankind, destroy evil and give eternal life to the saved ( Revelation 22:12 ). Jesus’ return will mark the end of the world.
For those who are saved, Jesus’ return is a reason for great hope! In that time, Jesus will establish justice and restore all things. The dead will rise and all the saved will be transformed to live forever. There will be no more pain, death or sadness ( Revelation 21: 3-4 ).
When will Jesus return? How is it going to be?
Nobody knows when Jesus’ return will be . Only God knows the date. Nobody can predict the day, because God did not reveal this information to anyone ( Matthew 24: 42-44 ). We need to be ready at all times, because Jesus can return at any time.
The Bible says that when Jesus returns, it will be very clear. Jesus will return in the same way he ascended to Heaven: in a cloud. His return will be marked by the sound of a trumpet and an archangel ( 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 ). Jesus’ return will not be discreet!
Before Jesus returns, we will see several signs, which serve as a warning that the end is near. These signs cannot give us the exact date, but they help us to remember that Jesus is coming soon. Thus, we will not be caught off guard.

How can we prepare for Jesus’ return?
The Bible says that we need to be prepared for when Jesus returns and gives us practical advice to prepare:
Living in a holy way
The main way to prepare for Jesus’ return is by having faith and obeying him ! Those who are saved live differently, trying to be more like Jesus, doing good and rejecting sin. If we focus on doing God’s will, we will have nothing to fear with Jesus’ return and will not be caught by surprise ( 2 Peter 3:14 ).

It is often easy to forget that the end is near and to fall into neglect with the things of God. The signs of the end of the world serve to alert us that we need to be aware and correct our life . We must remain sober and attentive to God’s will ( 1 Thessalonians 5: 6-9 ).
Build each other up
Together we are stronger! Alone we are much more vulnerable. We need our brothers in Christ to encourage each other and to keep ourselves prepared for Jesus’ return ( 1 Thessalonians 5:11 ). Together, we will be ready to receive Jesus!
