Abio

Abío or Caimito ( Pouteria caimito ). It is a fruit plant native to Brazil , it belongs to the family of the sapotáceas , to the genus Pouteria . Bright yellow fruit with a sweet and pleasant flavor.

Origin and distribution

It is native to Brazil and is distributed mainly from Trinidad and Tobago to central and southern tropical America. [13]
