5 unbeatable tips for truly believing in yourself

Self-confidence is often a fresh product, something that needs to be maintained and replenished at regular intervals.
Make it a habit to remind yourself of these points, at least once a day:

1. Anxiety is natural
Anxiety is a completely natural feeling and nothing to be ashamed of. Sometimes we worry more than usual and then it can be very limiting. Dare to investigate your concerns from time to time. Is your concern realistic? What is the worst thing that can happen if what you worry about strikes?

2. Be yourself
Accept your shortcomings and limitations and do not compare yourself so much with others. You still only see what they want you to see – people are good at hiding their faults. Do not automatically believe that others are always so much more enterprising, smarter and confident than you. Focus on your strengths and work to improve your shortcomings, but do not let your mistakes get the better of you.

Reach out
Let other people inspire and help you. Alone is not the strongest. Ask for advice and help sometimes.

4. Focus on positive things
Highlight things that are good and close your eyes to the bad. There is no point in complaining and whining. Complain once and then do something about it. If you can not influence what is disturbing, let it go and move on.

5. Allow yourself to fail
Close your eyes to the perfectionist in you. Accept that it takes time and many mistakes are required before you do the right thing and reach your goal. Failing several times is not shameful – it is completely natural and a way to learn not to make the same mistake more than once.
