What is the cheapest unlimited data rate?

Unlimited data rates came to Spain relatively recently to stay permanently. Now, as has happened with the rest of the modalities, the prices must begin to adjust and, with the passage of time, these rates should be the usual. Just as we have unlimited Internet at home, the same should happen on our mobiles. Luckily, we have more and more cheaper unlimited data rates to choose from. These are the plans that we have available in April 2021.

When we talk about unlimited data on the mobile, we usually think of the large operators such as Movistar, Orange, Vodafone and Yoigo, but the truth is that more and more MVNOs offer this type of services . This has caused the price of access to these rates to be much lower now, always speaking of mobile-only modalities. From 25 euros, we have several options so that we do not have to worry about the gigs that we have left to consume anymore.

Cheap unlimited data rates in April 2021

As we anticipated a few weeks ago, the large operators have decided to close the tap on promotions to have cheap unlimited data, at least with regard to mobile-only rates. Discounts are made only if we contract the fiber in the so-called convergent rates. It’s hard to believe that a year ago we had unlimited data for less than 20 euros for half a year at Orange or Vodafone.

However, now things are very different. If we want low prices we have to stay with the MVNOs that offer these types of rates. The problem is that it is not something massive and we only know a few that have rates with infinite gigs. In addition, one of them offers them in a promotional way and they are not part of the final conditions of the rate.

The first rate we review is UNLIMITED, Digi’s unlimited data . This allows you to have unlimited national and international calls and unlimited data to navigate in exchange for 25 euros per month. The rate can be combined with fiber, although that is another story. The 4G coverage of this MVNO is from Movistar.

The second rate is OLÉPHONE , OMV with Vodafone coverage with unlimited national calls, unlimited data and without permanence in exchange for 25 euros per month. Of course, we must clarify that this modality of infinite gigs is available only for portability and we will not be able to hire a new high.

The third option is PTV Telecom , although in this case it is a temporary promotion. If we contract the Platinum rate with 50GB we will have unlimited data for 30.95 euros. The price goes down if we combine it with fiber since the rate will cost 25.95 euros, to which we will add the usual rate for fiber optics.

If we want a large operator, Movistar offers Infinite Contract for 39.95 euros, Orange offers Go Up for 35.95 euros, Vodafone has the Unlimited for 32.99 euros and Yoigo for 35 euros (the first 3 months 29 euros). At Pepephone it is an optional bonus that is added to its more expensive convergent package in exchange for 19.90 euros.
