Good morning everybody! We welcome our dear students on this horoscope for Children’s Day.

This day is very important in the life of a child as well as their parents. That day reminds us of our duties towards all of you. You are like a tender bud, which can be molded in any way. This means that you children are so innocent that any kind of wrong education can adversely affect your personality.

This is the right age when every child needs proper education, you should be taught the good things in life and you should learn from your mistakes; He is also your best teacher in life. Mistakes teach you to identify and overcome your weaknesses. Children are important all over the world. So, Children’s Day is celebrated in different countries with equal pomp and show. One of the largest organizations in the world, the United Nations also celebrates Children’s Day, but on 20 November every year.

In India, we celebrate it on 14 November for a special reason. The historical background associated with this date is that it is the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was also the first Prime Minister of India. He loved children and was fond of spending his time with young children like all of you. The children affectionately called him Chacha Nehru. After his death in 1959, it was decided to celebrate Children’s Day on his birth anniversary; To celebrate his love for children.

He believed that children are the creation of God and his innocence melts the heart of anyone. A child’s sweet smile brings a big smile to your face. It acts as a soothing balm for both parents and teachers. I still remember those days when I used to get tired of housework and as soon as I entered my class, seeing your happy smile would end my fatigue.

The school is considered a second home for your children; We teachers not only impart education and knowledge but in some circumstances also become parents because every child has a different talent. We nurture every seed and mold the child according to its strengths and weaknesses.

Therefore, teachers should not leave any opportunity to pass this treasure of talent out of their students as children need encouragement both at home and at school. Children’s Day is celebrated with lots of fun and engaging activities like sports, games, indoor games, outdoor games, dance, play plays, national songs, speeches, essay writing etc. and all.

It is a day that removes all the barriers against children and allows them to celebrate as they wish. Students like you should be inspired by teachers to showcase their talents on the occasion, such as participating in quiz competitions or other types of competitions such as painting, modern dress shows, singing and cultural events.

Now you can enjoy fun filled activities and participate in various competitions organized by us.

Her birth anniversary is celebrated as Children’s Day across the country as she has an immense love and affection for children. He was a change maker, not only in the freedom fight but also in social change. Our first Prime Minister was a man of high views, and believed in equality between both men and women. He is trying to make this country equal in all respects which includes equality in relation to money, education etc. He believed that a country has its strengths, its young people and children who help develop our country with its new ideas and innovative ways.

Speech On Children's Day In School

Today is a very good morning for all to celebrate Children’s Day. I wish all your dear students a very happy Children’s Day. I, being the Vice Principal of this school, welcome all of you on this wonderful occasion.

On this occasion, I will be happy to explain why Pandit Nehru’s birth anniversary is celebrated as Children’s Day. It has been officially declared by the United Nations General Assembly to celebrate Children’s Day on 20 November every year, yet it is celebrated on 14 November across India on the day of Jawaharlal Nehru’s birth anniversary. This is the main historical background behind celebrating Children’s Day.

His birthday is celebrated as Children’s Day due to his love, care and affection towards children. He wanted to be surrounded by children all his life, and right after independence, he worked hard for the betterment of the children and youth of the country.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was very enthusiastic and hearty about children, especially their welfare, rights, education and overall improvement towards making this country a developed nation. He was very concerned about the health and well-being of children in India, so he worked hard for them to get the rights to which they are entitled. He was called Chacha Nehru because of his selfless affection by children.

You should remember that childhood is the best phase of life that all of you should live happily without any complaints. This phase will never come back where you can live life without any responsibilities. After a certain point in time, when you all grow up, you have to take care of everyone who will make you responsible and you will lose your innocence.

This stage also prepares you to inspire and develop your ambitions which in turn will help you achieve a successful career in life. If children like you are unhealthy of mind and body, you cannot give your best to the nation in the near future.

Therefore, the teenage phase of your life is the most important phase which every parent and teacher should nurture with their love, care and affection. As citizens of the country, we must understand our responsibilities and save the future of the nation.

Children’s day is celebrated in many schools and colleges with lots of fun and activities like sports, games, indoor games, outdoor games, dances etc. Similarly, we have also contributed in making this day happy by arranging fun filled activities for all of you. It is a day that removes all the barriers against children and allows them to celebrate as they wish.

Students should be motivated to show their talent by participating in specific competitions on this occasion by teachers, which also informs them about their strengths and weaknesses. We want you to cherish these wonderful moments for the rest of your life which will ultimately fulfill our objective of keeping you happy and satisfied.

Thank you!

4.Welcome speech on children’s day

Welcome speech on children's day

good morning to all! I thank all of you for being present on this beautiful occasion of Children’s Day. This day is celebrated every year on 14 November.

We welcome our adorable students to the event, which we have arranged to make you satisfied and happy. It comes once in a while when all of you can do what you want. You are considered the building block of our country and will remain so.

It is important that on this day every parent and teacher should take an oath to protect our tender buds from all kinds of wrong activities happening around us. Crimes against children crush us and every human on this earth should understand the value of a child.

You are the ones who in some circumstances give us vast ideas in life. Your innocence makes everyone’s heart melt, but still some people are involved in crime in relation to young minds. The crime rate against children in India is increasing at a rapid pace, which I advise all of you to keep vigilant at every moment in your life.

It is also our responsibility to keep you safe and speak as the school is considered your second home. Every child born on this earth has the right to basic education and healthcare, like you all want in your childhood, but it is not so.

You may have seen young children begging on the streets and at traffic lights. Have you ever wondered why they live in this type of activity? The fact of the matter is that there are a large number of children in India who do not attend schools, as their parents are not able to afford their schooling; Which motivates them to work as male laborers.

The Government of India has taken some drastic steps to curb child labor but there are still many people who force children like you to work as laborers. If you ever see such a situation, you should immediately inform the police which will make you a responsible citizen of our country.

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was a famous politician and the first Prime Minister of our country, also emphasized the fact that all of you are the building blocks of our nation. If you unite together you can all become a strong force and fight against the social evils prevailing in our country which have the potential to destroy the social fabric of our society.

All you young minds can develop new ideas and take our country to new heights. It is the day that unites all without any hindrance in our heart and soul. Thus, on this special day of your dear children, we teachers collectively wish you a Happy Children’s Day and pray to God to help you all achieve your dreams and objectives without facing any obstacle in life. Be competent and make your parents and teachers feel your success.
