Watch Dogs Legion – Graphics Settings Guide

Watch Dogs Legion Graphics Settings – One of the most anticipated titles of this year, which is probably also one of the best open world games of this year, Watch Dogs Legion has finally reached launch day. Considering the amount of hype this game has generated since the trailer came out, I can only imagine the sheer number of people who are going to play this game.

Now, Watch Dogs Legion is quite a demanding title and even with the latest controllers there isn’t much you can do if you have a high-end gaming rig. And considering how big the world is, bad fps could really make the experience worse.

Watch Dogs Legion – Graphics Settings Guide

Adjusting the video or graphics settings in the game not only gives you a smoother experience, but also eliminates performance issues such as fps drops. The same goes for this title. Let’s see if it’s possible to make Watch Dogs Legion run for people with high-end hardware by adjusting the game’s graphics or video settings.

Specifications of our test platform

Running a game on a mid-range gaming rig is always recommended if you want to find the best combination of graphics settings for the game. There is no point running benchmarks on gaming rigs with high end or enthusiast graphics cards. Because let’s be honest, all games will run smoothly on an RTX 3080 or RX 5700 XT.

Although the Watch Dogs Legion system requirements are on the higher side, we went ahead and ran it on a very basic and mediocre gaming PC. Here are the full specifications of our equipment:

  • CPU: Intel i3 9100F
  • GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 6GB
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 3000mhz
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest update)
  • SSD: 256GB (game installed in HDD)
  • HDD: 1 TB 7200 rpm
  • Monitor resolution: 1920 × 1080
  • Driver: GeForce Game Ready Driver v456.71

I am still testing the game and will continue to do so for the next few days. For now, all I can say is that the game stutters a lot. Especially in situations where the vegetation is dense or where the number of pedestrians is high. But that does not mean that the game cannot be played. If you have a GTX 1060 or even a 1650, you will be able to enjoy smooth frame rates in Watch Dogs Legion.
