Vodafone television offers different functionalities to improve the user experience. In addition to the usual ones like rewinding the live show, recording or watching the content of the last few days, we have others such as the voice control of Vodafone TV or the 4K channels of Vodafone . The latest functionality to be added is the Kids mode that allows you to create a customizable environment on the TV screen. Parents will be able to establish a profile for each child , customize their age and access times to the content. We give you all the keys after the jump, which also include improvements in the app.

Kids mode is here for parents’ peace of mind
Children mode is a customizable environment , where parents can create a profile for the child, personalizing their age and access times to the content. The operator explains that it stands out for these three characteristics:
- It is a safe and secure environment. Designed especially for children, with an intuitive use based on the characters that children know and love. It only contains programs suitable for the child’s age.
- Children’s entertainment only. Content on demand to view whenever you want within an intuitive and visual menu.
- Customizable: parents can create profiles for their children and define the age range and time of enjoyment thanks to parental control.
Accessing the children mode is simple and we will do it from the top of the main menu or from the ‘Vodafone TV Kids’ application within the ‘Apps’ menu of the decoder. The new functionality can only be enjoyed in Vodafone TV 4K decoders , not being compatible with the rest of the models.
There are also improvements in the Vodafone TV app
As we already know, the Vodafone TV decoder is not included by default in the new installations, costing 3 euros per month for interested customers. This movement of the operator is to offer practically the same experience with its applications for mobile phones, tablets or smart televisions. Therefore, it is necessary that you get up to date with the greatest number of functionalities. The last two to arrive are:
- Visual playback control : when the client is using the control to advance or rewind content, a window with the frames will appear on the screen to be able to see what is happening (forward or backward) at that moment. It will be available from December 17 for Android TV and Fire TV smartphones, tablets and devices, and soon for Samsung Smart TVs.
- Management of recordings from mobile phones and tablets : allows you to schedule, view or manage recordings from users’ mobile devices. The content recorded by the customer on their decoder is synchronized between the devices.
