Types of mushrooms

Fungi are a type of eukaryotic organisms or living beings, that is, they are made up of cells with a true nucleus. Fungi are generally classified in a different kingdom than other living things, known as fungi. Specifically, fungi are characterized by the fact that their cell wall is made up of chitin. As we know, fungi have different applications in human life. From a food or edible use, as part of chemical processes, and even as agents that are harmful to health or infectious. In fact, the classification of fungi is a bit difficult to establish, since some living things that were considered of this type were not in fact, while others that were not treated as such turned out to be fungi.
A form of scientific classification of fungi is divided into four main groups: saprophytes, lichenized, mycorrhizal, and parasites. This classification is defined according to the type of characteristics of the fungi that group it and, above all, their way of feeding, reproduction and way of life.

The types of fungi that exist are:

Chytrid fungi: it is also scientifically known as Phylum Chytridiomycota. They are those fungi that live in aquatic environments and that need water to move. Therefore, they feed on dead aquatic plants and other waste.

Conjugation fungi: Also known as Phylum Zygomycota, these types of fungi are born in the soil of decomposing organisms. Therefore, they are the cause of, for example, food spoiling. We can easily identify this type of fungus, since they have a greenish color.

Types of mushrooms

Sac fungi : these fungi are known as Phylum Ascomyota or as yeasts. They receive this name because their asexual spores are found in sacks. Some of these fungi live in decomposing plant organisms, developing complex structures. These types of mushrooms are also used in food processing, as they produce chemical reactions.

Hat mushrooms : this type of mushroom is the most popular or the most easily identified as such. Scientifically they are called Phylum Basidiomycota and popularly as mushrooms. This type of mushroom is characterized by having a very particular structure that ends in its upper part with a hood or hat.
