La Cafetería Torrelavega recreates the popular Cuban fonda with dishes and complete meals in a homemade style, as well as entrees, salads, desserts and refreshing drinks.
History
Its name recalls Torrelavega, a municipality belonging to the autonomous community of Cantabria , Spain , which since 1992 has been twinned with Old Havana . Very close to the cafeteria , a tombstone pays tribute to José Gutiérrez Portilla , Spanish promoter of the twinning between the two places.
