1) This (Red Fort) grand historical Mughal period art was built by Shah Jahan in 1648.

3) There are two main gates for this grand palace entrance, which we call Delhi Darwaza and Lahore Darwaza.

4) For the protection of the palace, a wall of 80 meters wide, 60 feet high and 2.5 km long has been built around it.

1) After the First War of Independence of 1857, this palace came under the British Government, during which some part of the palace was damaged.

2) After the movement, Bahadur Shah Zafar was tried and in 1945, three officers of the Indian National Army were court-martialed in this palace.

3) After independence, this fort again came under the Indian Army.

4) The Red Fort was the main office of the Indian Army from 1947 to 2002, then in 2003, the Army handed it over to the Indian Tourism Department.

5) Red Fort is the most important building in India from the point of view of tourism, which displays the pride of the country.

6) A verse written in the Qur’an says that if there is a paradise on earth, then it is it, that is, the Red Fort.

7) Today the Red Fort is displayed in front of the world as the largest museum of the Indian freedom struggle.
