Ingredients

  • 390 grams of spelled flour.
  • 300 grams of water.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  • 1 tablespoon of seed mixture.
  • 1 teaspoon of yeast.

Elaboration

Spelled is a cereal that stands out for being a magnificent wheat variety for organic farming. It has been cultivated for about 7000 years, both in China and in Egypt.

It is rich in proteins , in some minerals , such as phosphorus, iron and magnesium and in vitamins of group B and E. In addition, it has a high fiber content , so it helps to prevent constipation , and it is a suitable cereal to use in slimming diets.

To start with its preparation, mix the flour, salt, garlic and yeast in a bowl. Next, we add the water while stirring until we obtain a homogeneous mass and then incorporate the seeds.

Once we have obtained this dough, we cover it and let it rest for about 12 hours. When the set time has elapsed, the oven is preheated to about 240 degrees.

The dough is then placed in a covered pan and baked for about 45 minutes at 180 degrees. Finally, we let it cool down.
