Despite being in such a high position, you have always come on time from work and never let the customers feel any kind of trouble. I have not seen you struggling till the last moment because your time management has always been very good. You are a great person as well as a great leader.
Today is your last working day and tomorrow will start the second innings of your life. You have an ocean of knowledge, skills and experience, and in view of this fact, last week, you got an offer of a job as a consultant from a private firm. When you were asked whether you would like to associate yourself with the new company and be financially secure, you replied that your second shift would be entirely devoted to their family and charity work. You also said that they have taken a lot from the society and now it is their turn to give back to the society.
Though your presence will be missed a lot from yesterday but you have fulfilled your last duty by assigning proper workload to your colleague and relevant training. First of all I would like to welcome everyone on this special day which will bring a kind of bitter and sweet experience for all of us. It will not be easy for us to say goodbye to our esteemed boss Mr. X, who has worked continuously in our company for 20 years and has contributed significantly to its growth and expansion. I do not want to miss this chance to say a few words in honor of my boss. Ever since you joined our company, you are recognized for your strong attitude and hard work for your job. Your attitude towards work is truly inspiring to others which encourages working hard and setting new standards of achievements.
Despite being in the position of senior operational manager, your behavior towards others is generous and considerate. After being subjected to your expert supervision, I was able to understand my work better and also learn to bear the additional responsibilities. As everyone knows you are known for your comical nature, good management skills and credibility in the company. Respected Sir, we are all here to wish you all the best for the coming days. You are not going to take the name of this pain. Sir, we want to tell you that retirement is an idea to show you how to live life. It is time for you to put your friends and family before your work. We wish you a happy and satisfied retired life.
Sir, you have been our friend, boss, mentor, guardian and everything that we want to see you as. You have often reprimanded us but on the other hand you have also pampered us. You are the one who has laid the foundation of our life. A person like you is the best example, below whom people would like to make a career. We can never forget those cheerful moments spent together. Meetings that turned into informal sessions after 10 minutes of drinking a cup of tea.
We are more concerned with friends than colleagues. Your inspirational thoughts have inspired us a lot and I am sure that we have inherited your values which we will never forget over time.
