Red lipstick, do you use it?

Do you think red lipstick doesn’t suit you? Before you buy your lipstick, you need to know which red is right for your skin type. This does not mean that you should only use a certain shade, but that it will enhance the color of your skin. The idea is very simple, it doesn’t have a lot of mystery: use the tone that comes closest to your skin so as not to create too much contrast.

Lighter skins (white, tanned or not, blond or with light brown hair) are favored by lighter tones, more open, pulling to orange. They brighten up the skin and thus the look. The brunettes combine more with intense reds. Girls with black skin are favored by reds of red or wine. These shades give more life to black skin.

How should red lipstick be used?

It’s simple. First, it is necessary to prepare your lips. If they are dry, you need to apply a lip scrub to eliminate dead cells and activate circulation. After the first step, apply lip balm and a little foundation or concealer to cover the color of the lips and fix the color of the lipstick.

The ideal is to use a brush. If you use the lipstick directly on your lips it can make them very loaded. After application, “kiss” a tissue to remove excess and avoid staining your teeth.
