Scientists analyzed the IQ level of gamers who use game consoles, personal computers and smartphones. Psychologists have also determined the intelligence level of gamers, depending on which games they prefer.
A group of psychologists analyzed the IQ ( intelligence quotient) of over a thousand video game users.
Scientists have determined that the highest IQ score – 112.3 – was received by PC gamers. In second place were users of the PlayStation 4 game console – they have 110.7 IQ points.
Almost seven points less for Xbox users, while Nintendo Switch gamers came in second to last with 101.3 points.
The lowest IQ level, according to the results of this study, is typical for users who prefer to play video games on smartphones.
The researchers also stated that gamers with higher IQs choose games like Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Among Us, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare, Fifa and others.
Among video games users with lower IQs, experts identified Angry Birds, Candy Crash, Rocket League, Assassin’s Creed.
