Pork with Rice

Pork with Rice. Fabulous Honduran-style recipe, a rich dish from Catracha cuisine, easy and inexpensive. It is a typical dish of American cuisine , although many countries include it on their menu.


  • 2 onions,peeled and chopped
  • 8 clovesof garlic,
  • 3 ripe peeled tomatoes
  • 1 ounce of butter.
  • 2 poundsof pork ( pork ) and rib meat .
  • 1 ½ pounds of rice.
  • 2 large redchili peppers .
  • 2 chilies green.
  • 2 large green chilies
  • Sal.
  • Pepperto taste
  • Hot chili (if you want)


In a deep clay frying pan , fry the crushed garlic with the butter , add the onion and when it is a little browned add the meat cut into pieces, the chopped tomatoes , the chilies in strips and spicy, a chilito if you want.

It is cooking for a while, add enough water boiling to tape all, salt and pepper. When the meat is soft, remove it (as long as you have enough water and cover everything), add the clean rice , cover and cook over low heat . When the rice is soft and burst, mix the meat and wait for it to dry over a low heat. Instead of pork, you can do it with chicken , cooked and peeled shrimp , which are tossed last.
