Namala sugarcane cultivation

Sugarcane is a major economic crop in northwestern Bangladesh and the main raw material for sugar and jaggery production. About three lakh acres of sugarcane is cultivated every year in Bangladesh. Namakh sugarcane is cultivated on 25% of the cultivated land in advance and the remaining 3-5% of the cultivated land. Sugarcane yield per acre is very low in Bangladesh, compared to other sugarcane producing countries of the world, with only 1 metric ton. By cultivating the nominal sugarcane with the application of advanced technology, the yield of sugarcane can be increased to a considerable extent. Rabi crops such as mustard, lentils and sugarcane are harvested during winter or after harvesting sugarcane, while the intensity of winter is reduced in the area, which is cultivated from mid-January to February. In the cultivation of Namla sugarcane, the following factors should be considered with utmost importance.

  1. Selection of land: For cultivating nominal sugarcane, high, medium to high Doha Soil or Atel Doha Soil should be selected.
  2. Caste Selection: Ishwardi-1, Ishwardi-25, Ishwardi-25, Ishwardi-12, Ishwardi-1, Ishwardi-1, Ishwardi-1, Ishwardi-1 and Ishwardi-1 and middle-elevation-2. , LJC, Ishwardi-20 and Ishwardi-3 varieties should be selected.
  3. Land preparation: During high temperature and dry weather, the juice of the soil can dry quickly. Therefore, for the cultivation of naamla sugarcane, good soil should be prepared with 3 to 5 deep cultivars and ladders. Four tons of rotten cow dung or garbage fertilizers should be used when making land.
  4. Nala preparation: Seedlings should be planted in deep nalas when sowing sugarcane. Because at this time there is no juice at 7 inches deep from the ground. The Atelier Dooms should be cut two and a half feet away on the ground and sandy Dooms 2 feet away on the ground at a depth of 3 to 7 inches.
  5. Seed Amount – 2.5 tonnes per acre is required for the planting of sugarcane sugarcane.
  6. Seed framing: The top half of the sugarcane should be used as a seed from the expected field of sugarcane under sugarcane. Because the sugar is low in the lower part, the germination is reduced. The seeds should be made with two eyes on one corner with a sharp smile or a dais with the seed sugarcane on a hard wood piece. At the time of making the seedbed, the da or smile should be doused with fire.
  7. Seed Purification: In order to protect the sugarcane crop from the attack of the disease, sugarcane seed must be cleansed by spraying fungal drugs before planting. For this, the seeds need to be submerged for 5 minutes by mixing 20 grams of Vatican 1 WP in 20 liters of water.
  8. Fertilizer application in the drain: Apply 12 kg TSP, 1 kg urea, 12 kg mop, 5 kg gypsum, 5 kg zinc sulphate and 5 kg zinc sulphate per acre and mix it well with a small spade with good spade. Fertilizers may be less than the weather and region.
  9. Soil Cleansing: The sugarcane plantation can be damaged at any time by the invasion of whales. In order to suppress the urticaria 1 kg of reagent-1 GR fertilizer per acre should be applied to the drain and irrigation should be provided immediately if there is a lack of juice.
  10. Sati crop cultivation: Namala sugarcane can be cultivated as a companion crop, as well as onion, gima kammi, reddish, chilli, summer mug and tomato. Fertilizer should be used separately for companion crops.
  11. Fill-in-the-blank: In Bangladesh newly planted sugarcane land has about 5% free space, which is one of the reasons for reducing the yield of sugarcane. Within 5 days of planting sugarcane, if there is no saplings within 5 feet of the area, there should be arrangement to fill the empty space by lifting the seedlings from the seedbed / dense space in the seed section / seed floor of the head. Before filling the vacant space with sugarcane seedlings, two thirds of the leaf should be cut off and at the time of planting the seedlings should give a biofilm irrigation.
  12. Insect suppression: Dagger mazes may be attacked by pigs in April-May in Namla sugarcane land. If the attack is intense then 1 kg of Edfuran-5g per acre should be used. In addition, the application of edfuran increases the amount and number of roots in the tree. The tree can absorb a large amount of nitrogen, iron and zinc from the soil, so the leaves of the tree contain a dense green color.
  13. Top fertilizer application: 3 cm from sugarcane rows within 3 to 120 days after planting sugarcane; With the farming of the plow, you need to cover 5 kg of urea and 5 kg mop of fertilizer per acre and cover it with soil. The condition of the soil must be applied at the time of applying the fertilizer.
  14. Irrigation application: In March-April, if there is a shortage of juice in the field, then irrigation should be provided 3 to 6 times. In order to get more yield, the irrigation soil should be irrigated after one month in the Etel Doha soil and after 5 days in the sandy Doha soil.
  15. Other Services: Besides weeding, weeding, loosening of soil, soil management, cushion management, bush dams should be completed in a timely manner.
  16. Yield: Numerous sugarcane cultivars can yield 25 to 5 metric tonnes per acre, if proper.
