Full sunlight is vital for cinnamon, so it is important to keep it in a place where adequate sunlight is available. Even for indoor you have to use a sunny place like a window, balcony or your terrace.

What kind of soil?

It is important to use a good quality soil and do not use garden soil as it may contain harmful bacteria. Sometimes we try to plant trees in the tub with soil from the surrounding. Often, this practice is not effective in sensitive plants.
Soil that is good for drainage should be used. In this case the well drained sandy loam soil is suitable. Cinnamon cannot tolerate drought at all.

You can also use 3% trichocomposted cocodest as an alternative to soil.

For outside cultivation, you will need to fill a hole up to one meter (3 cm deep) and fill it with soil.

A large pot will be needed for indoor or rooftop garden (you can use a small pot at the beginning and replace the tree in another container if it is a bit larger).
