Today, Shri Narendra Modi is also making all the people aware by adopting the same path of Gandhiji to make the country clean, that it was everyone’s duty to clean the country from the filth of slavery, in which everyone’s contribution was important. Similarly, it is the duty of all of us to keep the country clean, which is not possible without everyone’s contribution, so the cleanliness campaign was started on the day of Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October.

Apart from this, Gandhiji started reservation in the country to improve the condition of Dalits in the country. At that time there was a need for Harijan movement, because the condition of Dalits was very pathetic, worse than any animal. But today the power greeds spoiled it so much that even Gandhiji was held responsible for this reservation.

Gandhi Jayanti Poem

I am Gandhi but not hungry for power

I am not loyal to the country, I do not accept the freedom

Say whatever you want

I have shown it by saying no

The independent land you have got today

Many have saved him by giving him life

Easy to find fault

Blame for the problems

I threw the British out

Show me by throwing garbage

We threw out the british

Show me for yourself

We gave you free india

You make clean india

Don’t call it Gandhi Jayanti

Cover it with a clean India

Gandhi Jayanti wants to say through this poem, how long we will curse the history of India, how long we will see someone’s face. We all have to be united, because cleaning the country or fighting corruption or reservation, it is not the work of any one but the responsibility of the entire nation.
