IACuba 29. Cuban variety of rice nominated in 1999 , for low inputs of water and fertilizers. It was obtained by crossing the rice varieties and / or lines : IR1529-ECIA / GLORIA // V15521 in Cuba . It reaches an agricultural yield that exceeds 4.0 t / ha in the wet season and 6.0 t / ha in the dry season. Obtained by researchers from the Genetic Improvement department of the Grain Research Institute , entity responsible for producing its Original and Basic seed.
