Redeem pre-order DLC in Monster Hunter Rise
If you pre-ordered the game or purchased the Deluxe Edition, you will have some goodies waiting for you when you start the game. These are largely cosmetic and have nothing to do with the actual game, however don’t worry about missing out if you only bought the Standard Edition on launch day.
To use your DLC for pre-ordering, you must first read the tutorial until Senri the Courier asks you to go talk to him. Senri is in charge of getting you online and allowing you to play online with friends, but she can also help you claim your bonus items.
While talking to her in Kamura Village, choose the option that says Add-ons, then choose Check Add-ons, and the game will start to check if you have any bonus items to collect. Once you’ve done that, choose the Claim option to see all the items available to you, then collect them all.
The Deluxe Edition, for example, comes with the Samurai Pose set, as well as the layered samurai armor. Poses can be accessed from your character’s menu, while layered armor can be accessed by checking the item’s box and choosing the Layered Armor option.
