Instagram has been updated recently, but some users cannot find a way to upload Stories on the social network because some have noticed that the option to upload them has disappeared from the place where it was before, but it does not mean that it is not on the social network.
So that this problem is not affecting all users equally, users with the Android system are noticing that the button to upload stories has changed places and now it is much more difficult to create a new story, for those who have iOS still where same.
We do not know if it is a bug and they will fix it soon with a new minor update that shows the button again, but the truth is that many are finding that they cannot upload stories because they have simply moved the corresponding button.
You can even see some other complaints on social networks regarding this issue, but you can continue uploading stories to Instagram as always, the only thing that the steps have now changed and at this time with the new update is more tedious, they would be these :
- Enter Instagram and go to your profile tab, the one that has the shape of an icon or with your image, just to the right of the new Reels and Store icons .
- Now click on the “+” button at the top and choose the “History” option.
- On the main screen, in the house icon, you can also continue uploading a Stories by also clicking on the “+” button above.
- Then, sliding the screen to the left, you will have to select “History”. These two options are available for Instagram on Android.
In our case we have iOS and the “your story” button used to upload a new Story is still present just before the Instagram Stories carousel of the people you follow, so right now there are at least three ways to use them iPhone to access.
We do not know if the new version of Instagram has a bug or not that makes it impossible for some users to upload stories , what seems clear is that these people now have to use another method to upload their content to the social network through the steps that we have indicated.
