Duel! Gathering of Summoners! The event starts from May 25th , 2023 until June 19th , 2023 by taking Traveler and Paimon around Teyvat to experience the King of Invokations Grand Prix . During the event, you can take part in a variety of mini-games, including Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Invoker. I found it a bit more difficult than Felix Yogi’s previous version of Evermotion Mechanical Painting, but it’s a fun puzzle nonetheless.
How to unlock Evermotion: Liyue I mechanical painting in Genshin Impact
To unlock the Evermotion Mechanical Painting: Invoker minigame in Liyue, you need to complete the second event quest called The Roll! A sea of new acquaintances . In addition, you also need to solve two Evermotion Mechanical Painting puzzles in Mondstadt:
- Mechanical painting Evermotion: Mondstadt I
- Evermotion Mechanical Paint: Mondstadt II
Completing all of the above will unlock the King of Invokations competition location in Liyue, as well as Evermotion Mechanical drawing puzzles in the region.

Interact with the mechanical painting Evermotion: Liyue I stands on the edge of the competition area to start the puzzle. On startup, select Surface I and Rotate Surface three times . The top left gear should be in the middle of the plate as shown in the picture above.

Next, switch to Surface 2 . You will also need to rotate the surface three times so that pins three and four are on the left side of the bottom right plate pictured above.

Select Gear Column 1 and place the Small Gear . Refer to the image above to see what the puzzle should look like at this point.

Next, switch to Gear Column 2 and the Medium Gear slot to position. Refer to the image above to see what the puzzle should look like at this point.

Once that’s done, switch to Gear Column 3 and select the Big Gear . Refer to the image above to see what the puzzle should look like at this point.

Finally, switch to Gear Column 4 and place the second Medium gear . This will make the gears move, completing the puzzle.
