How to transfer music from PC to iPhone

Most iPhone users are wondering how to transfer MP3 files from PC to their smartphone . Although it may seem like a difficult procedure, in reality a few simple steps are enough simply by using the Apple tool dedicated to managing the iPhone from a PC, i.e. iTunes .

Transfer music to iPhone from Windows PC

After installing iTunes, the first step is to connect iPhone to PC and wait for Apple’s software to recognize your device . Once this initial phase is complete, you will be ready to take the steps you find below:

  • from the iTunes main screen, click on the Device item (or smartphone icon) at the top left);
  • once this is done, select the Summary tab and uncheck the item Synchronize automatically when iPhone is connected ;
  • apply the check to the item Manually manage music and videos , and finally tap the Apply button ;
  • at this point, you will have to click on the File button at the top left, press the Add file to library item , select the audio files to transfer and finally click Open ;
  • to complete the procedure, you will have to open the Music tab in the side menu, apply the check to the Synchronize music item and finally click on the Apply button .

Once the sync is complete, you can disconnect your iPhone from the PC. In this way, the newly downloaded MP3 files will be available on your iPhone and to listen to them, just open the Music app .
