How to get rid of ads that often appear on Xiaomi cellphones
Note: This tutorial can only be followed if your Xiaomi cellphone is rooted . If your Xiaomi cellphone is not rooted , then you cannot follow this tutorial.
First, you need an app called Link2SD . You can download it for free on the Google Play Store.
If it is already installed on your Xiaomi cellphone, then open the Link2SD application.
Link2SD will display a list of all applications on your Xiaomi cellphone. Look for apps with the name “msa” (without the quotes).
This application is used by Xiaomi to display ads on your cellphone.
There are two options you can do. Namely freeze it, or delete it.
But I highly recommend just freezing it.
Touch and hold on the name of the msa application until several options appear. Then select the “Freeze” option .
A sign that the application has been successfully frozen is that it says “Frozen” next to the name of the application. Looks like the image below.
Now that it’s frozen, the msa app will no longer be able to show ads on your Xiaomi cellphone.
