  5. Choose where to save the bookmark, either in the default folder or you can create a new one.
  6. Click on ‘Done’ and your bookmark will be saved.

A very useful Tip is that on your PC you can hide the Chrome bookmarks bar so that nobody sees it, of course in case you want to keep it private, just press Ctrl + Shift + B  and you will notice that it appears and disappears by using the key combination.

From your cell phone you can save bookmarks in a similar way to the PC , the difference is that the star icon is not visible so you must make it show. Learn how to do it as follows:

  2. In the top bar write the path C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data (You can copy and paste).

Export items manually

Now that you have the recovery tool open, all you have to do is manually export , for this:

  1. Drag all the selected files to the tool.
  2. Click on the option that activates the one that says ‘Download list’and the number of bookmarks found.
  3. An HTML file is downloaded to your PC.

Import your lost bookmarks

  1. In your Chrome browser go to the ‘Bookmark Manager’
  2. Click on ‘Import bookmarks’
  3. Choose the downloaded HTML file.
  4. Click on ‘OK’ and voila you should have your deleted bookmarks recovered.
