How to prepare hand luggage for the plane

Knowing how to prepare a perfect hand luggage is essential especially if it is the only luggage that will accompany us during our trip.

If you will face a short trip, perhaps to attend a One Direction concert as part of On The Road Again Tour, it is good to take note of these tips dedicated to the suitcase that you will take on the plane with you.

Before getting into the “heart” of his preparation it is important to know that:

  • HOLD LUGGAGE is what is checked in during check-in, HAND LUGGAGE is what will “follow” you throughout the journey.
  • HAND LUGGAGE must comply with measurements and a weight : always check the airline’s website for specific requirements. For example:
    • RYANAIR www.ryanair.com allows 1 hand luggage with a maximum weight of 10Kg and dimensions 55x40x20 + a small bag 35x20x20.
    • EASYJET www.easyjet.com allows n ° 1 hand luggage with maximum dimensions of 56x45x25. Holders of an easyJet Plus card , an easyJet Flexi ticket and passengers who have purchased an easyJet ticket with a front row seat or more legroom are allowed to carry ONE additional small bag (bag / PC) up to 45x36x20 in size.
    • ALITALIA www.alitalia.com containing 1 hand luggage with a maximum weight of 8kg and dimensions 55x35x25. It is also possible to bring an additional small personal bag.
  • the liquidi that you put in your HAND LUGGAGE must be placed in a transparent bag : each individual liquid must be placed in a container NOT exceeding 100ml .

The sum of all the containers in the bag MUST NOT EXCEED 1 LITER . In this regard, we recommend the purchase of products in travel size (if you check in a bag, put all the liquids there – in case they exceed 100ml per bottle)
