What is FantaSanremo

Surely you have heard of Fantacalcio, but if you have never understood how it works but above all you don’t have the slightest interest in football, know that there is a version dedicated to the songs and artists competing at the Sanremo Festival which allows you, together with friends, to create teams made up of 5 singers among the 30 competing on the stage of the Ariston Theater for the 74th edition of the Festival. In the next paragraphs we will tell you how to play this game with friends and family.

The game in question was created as a joke in 2020 in a bar in Porto Sant’Elpidio, in the Marche region. The group of friends who gave life to this pastime then created a real website complete with the official FantaSanremo Regulations and the relative birth of the FIF – Italian FantaSanremo Federation.

How to play FantaSanremo

First you need to register on the site fantasanremo.com to create your free account. If you have already participated in previous editions of the game, all you have to do is enter your email and password (you can easily recover it if you have forgotten it).

A tutorial will guide you in creating your first team which must be made up of 5 artists, one of whom must be appointed as captain. Know that you have 100 Baudi available, i.e. the game currency (created in honor of the historic host Pippo Baudo ed.). Each artist has a value in Baudi: the total value of the members of your team must not exceed 100 Baudi.

If you want to participate in the FantaSanremo, remember to create your team by Monday 05 February 2024 at 11.59 pm (unless extended).

2. Follow the tutorial to create your first team;
3. If you want, create a league to participate by involving friends and relatives and/or join those created by other users;
4. Monitor the progress of your team during Sanremo 2024 to discover your ranking night after night.

• It is mandatory to have a team made up of 5 artists, of which one must be the captain;

Who wins at FantaSanremo

The person who has accumulated the greatest number of points at the end of the Italian Song Festival wins. You can decide the prize together with your friends, as there is no official prize (the game was created with the sole purpose of following the Festival while having fun).
