Steps to follow to block access to certain WhatsApp chats with a password
To do this, we are going to use an app that we can find on Google Play for Android devices called Chat Lock for WhatsApp. As its name suggests, what this app allows us to do is block access to the chats that we want individually. That is, access to the messaging application will be password-free, but the moment we want to enter a certain chat, that is when we will have to indicate the access code . In this way, even if our phone falls into the hands of someone and is unlocked, you will not be able to access those WhatsApp messages.
All we have to do is install Chat Lock for WhatsApp on the mobile and once this is done, first of all we will have to give accessibility permissions to the app from the system settings. Once this is done, we open the app and we will see that an icon with the “+” symbol appears at the bottom right . We touch on it and then WhatsApp will open for us to select the chat that we want to protect with a password . As soon as we touch on it, we will be asked to indicate the password that will give us access, which we will have to repeat twice to make sure of what we write.
Later, we will see how in Chat Lock for WhatsApp the name of that chat appears together with a closed padlock , which means that we have already blocked access to that WhatsApp chat with a password. How to block WhatsApp with your fingerprint

This biometric security system can be used in WhatsApp natively to prevent third parties from reading your conversations, regardless of whether or not your phone is locked.
